Dowd, District Judge, pursuant to a jury verdict against them for Fourth Amendment and Eighth Amendment violations arising from the detention and subsequent strip search of a prisoner, Michael R. Cornwell, following a prison uprising. Cornwell commenced this action pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983 (1988).
